Role & responsibilities 1. Planing & testing as per DOP and arrange fixtures motors as and when required prior to testing. 2. Checking Datasheet, performance curve, ITP,PO etc documents for internal testing or party inspection and give feed back to concern. 3. Internal testing & TPI of 100% pumps as per PO and ITP,PR,PO of client.Follow up for approved documents as required. 4. Supervision and Guidance in pump testing laboratory with minimum work force . 5. Report generation and review of report from third party inspector and submission in Time . 6. 5s, OSHAS,ISO documentation and conducting ISO audits.Keep all measuring instruments updated and calibrated. 7. Testing of KEPL pump in KBL HRC lab as and when required. 8. Preparation & maintaining data of cost saving & energy conservation. 9. Give impeller cut down in advance as per MOP and Quartertly plan. 10. Arrange for resources and consumables for testing of pumps in future as and when required.Also maintain all testing equipment in Good condition for operation. 10. Drive Kaizens and innovation culture in testing department. 11.Give training to subordinates and trainee as required. Preferred candidate profile

As a Production Supervisor in the FE_Energy team at Sulzer in Ambernath, India, your primary responsibility will be to ensure TAKT achievement in all workcentres of the ABN factory as per plan. This will involve proactively studying the manufacturing processes for hydro, assembly, and packaging of the pumps planned at ABN. You will be required to check and ensure the availability of all the necessary toolings for hydro, assembly, and packaging to facilitate seamless production. In addition to this, you will be responsible for handling three-shift manpower efficiently to maintain high levels of manpower utilization and achieve planned productivity. Conducting GEMBA meetings and coordinating in real-time with cross-functional teams such as PPC, Warehouse, ORE, Maintenance, Purchase, and QC will be essential aspects of your role. You will need a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in rotary equipment, pump assembly, machine shop, hydro, and packaging in manufacturing to succeed in this position. Competency in API pumps/compressors and a good understanding of BOM, Manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, GA, QAP, and data sheets are also required. Additionally, proficiency in manpower handling, union, and contractor management is necessary. A Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production, along with certifications in 5S/Lean, would be desirable. Role & responsibilities Knowledge of : API / non API Pumps is Must 1. Pump Servicing (Minimal but Critical) Attend customer sites for pump servicing as and when required. Provide technical guidance and assist customers in troubleshooting pump-related issues . Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support. 2. Pump Testing Oversee and manage the pump testing department to ensure pumps meet quality and performance standards . Conduct and analyze hydraulic performance tests , ensuring compliance with industry specifications . Troubleshoot and resolve testing-related issues in coordination with the quality and manufacturing teams. Maintain testing records and reports for future reference and quality control. 3. Pump Assembly & Manufacturing Supervise and coordinate the assembly of centrifugal pumps at the manufacturing plant. Ensure proper handling and fitting of machining parts to maintain product integrity. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve assembly and performance issues. 4. Team Leadership & Coordination Lead and mentor a small team in the testing and assembly areas . Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety and quality standards . 5. Customer Interaction & Technical Support Act as a technical advisor for customers, offering guidance on pump operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting . Coordinate with customers for service requests, testing requirements, and assembly-related queries. Preferred candidate profile

Liaises with Sales on the Customer's requirements and specifications, including the scope, and timing. Prepares and submits the techno-commercial offer to Sales (Under the guidance of regional Commercial Sales/Operations team). Required Candidate profile BE/Diploma in mechanical engineering , 4+ years of relevant experience in technical tendering of API/Non API Pumps. Aftermarket application engineering /tendering experience in a global environment
