VP of Engineering

Job Description

We are seeking a VP Engineering for our nextgen financial platform. The platform has been built with the best of breed open-source tech, and we are looking for a senior technologist to come in and help us scale the platform up, bring in robust processes around delivery, testing and security and manage a team of smart motivated developers. If you enjoy working in scale ups, this could be something very exciting. Education Background: Bachelors or Masters in Engineering / Computer Science: BS/MS/BTech/MTech/BE/ME. We will need you to bring: • Previous experience working in capital markets broking or wealth management or asset management/mutual funds or market infrastructure institutions • Full Stack Background: Some combination of C++14/Python/NodeJS and Flutter/ReactJS • Performance optimisation background across the stack front end, back end, database, infrastructure, and network • Strong AWS skills: AWS API Gateway, Route53, Lambda, EC2, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, Cognito • Experience creating robust processes in automated test infrastructure, peer level code review, security management of application code base, managing releases that we can roll fast to the end users What you get: • Competitive compensation and stock options. • Hybrid Work. • 3 weeks of paid time off. • Opportunity to learn the broking business from our founders and senior management. • Strong team to support you.
