VP-Negotiator

As a Vice President Negotiator for our BFSI client's Global Contract Services team at the on-site Pune location, you will play a crucial role in leading one of the largest legal teams in the financial services sector. You will have the opportunity to draft, negotiate, and execute derivatives and trading agreements such as ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, Futures, etc. Additionally, you will collaborate with global stakeholders from various departments including credit risk, trading, collateral, treasury, tax, and onboarding. Your role will also involve acting as a subject matter expert on master agreements while providing guidance to team members. You will be responsible for leading negotiations, managing risk, and ensuring high-quality legal outcomes in a fast-paced global environment. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, negotiate, and execute derivatives and trading agreements (ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, Futures, etc.) - Partner with global stakeholders across credit risk, trading, collateral, treasury, tax, and onboarding - Act as a subject matter expert on master agreements while mentoring team members - Lead negotiations, manage risk, and deliver high-quality legal outcomes in a dynamic global environment Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in derivatives master agreements and collateral arrangements - Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (IM/VM requirements) - Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills - LLB (preferred), with flexibility to work UK hours - Minimum of 7 years experience managing ISDA negotiations - Total PQE should be 14-20 years If you are ready to take on a leadership role with global impact and possess the required qualifications and experience, please share your updated resume at sonika@vahura.com.,
