Volunteer

As a part-time on-site volunteer at one of the Teach For India schools located in Block E, Subash Vihar, Shahdara, Delhi, 110053, you will be actively participating in day-to-day classroom activities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers, support students, and engage in school events and programs with the aim of providing quality education to children, particularly in the 6th-grade classroom. Subjects you may cover include English, Social Studies, Math, or Science. It is crucial for you to dedicate a minimum of 50 hours to this role, working under the guidance of a fellow. - Assist teachers in classroom activities - Support and mentor students - Participate in school events and programs - Contribute to the 6th-grade classroom in various subjects - Commit a minimum of 50 hours to the role - Genuine love for working with children - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting - Patience, empathy, and passion for education - Fluency in English for effective communication Teach For India is a nationwide movement committed to providing excellent education for all children.
