Company Description Tushita Foundation — a vibrant, community-based non-profit nestled in the historic town of Amer, just outside Jaipur. Our foundation offers children from underserved communities the opportunity to learn English and essential life skills in a joyful, supportive environment. These daily interactions not only empower the children but also create space for cultural exchange and growth for everyone involved. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Volunteer located in Amer, Rajasthan. The Volunteer will be responsible for teaching children, preparaing lesson plans for the various age groups to assisting organizing community events, providing support to local teachers. Day-to-day tasks include taking classes, assisting with teaching sessions, engaging with the community, and supporting the foundation's mission through various other activities. Qualifications We welcome applications from fluent English speakers aged 18 and above who are kind, open-minded, and excited about working closely with children. Flexibility and ability to work in a diverse environment Previous volunteering experience is a plus Passion for education and community development Additional Information The program is for 6 to 10 months (we also consider shorter 3-month engagements in special cases), Volunteers are housed in a comfortable apartment in the heart of Jaipur city. We provide daily transport to and from the Foundation (40 min drive), two nutritious Indian meals a day, and Sundays off to relax, explore, or cook in the shared kitchen.
