Volunteer

This is a part-time on-site volunteer role located in Block E, Subash Vihar, Shahdara, Delhi, 110053 at one of the Teach For India schools. As a volunteer, you will be involved in day-to-day classroom activities, assisting teachers, supporting students, and participating in school events and programs aimed at providing quality education to children. Your primary focus will be on contributing to the 6th-grade classroom, covering subjects such as English, Social Studies, Math, or Science. It is essential for volunteers to commit a minimum of 50 hours to this role, working under the guidance of a fellow. To excel in this role, you should have a genuine love for working with children, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Patience, empathy, and a deep passion for education are qualities that will greatly benefit you in this position. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication with the students and fellow staff members.
