VMware Administrator

As a VMware Administrator based in Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in the installation, integration, configuration, and operation of VMware technologies such as VMware vCenter, NSX-T, vCloud suite, and vRNI. Your responsibilities will include: - Deployment in HA DRS Cluster and managing resources effectively. - Migration of Virtual machines configuration files and Virtual disk between data stores. - Adding new ESXi Hosts to existing Esxi host Clusters. - Upgrading Vcenter Appliance from 7.0 to 7.0 U3. - Performing Firmware Upgrades on Dell and HP Servers, including Blade and Rack Servers. - Utilizing vROPS for generating various types of reports and details. - Upgrading ESXi OS from 7.0 U3 to 8.0 on existing ESXI Host servers. - Executing P2V and V2V using VMware Converter. - Handling Server farms of over 700+ VMs in Production Environments. - Managing and maintaining vSAN environments across data centres and PAN India locations. - Configuring, building, implementing, and administrating VMware ESXi maintenance updates. - Troubleshooting critical incidents and outages of production servers. - Implementing the latest technologies to enhance system security within VMware infrastructure. - Regularly patching and upgrading ESXi hosts and vCenter Servers. - Monitoring ESXi host servers logs daily using vLog insight servers. - Maintaining vROPS Servers for generating various reports. - Ensuring the health of all Hosts and VM objects in vCenter Environments. - Designing installation, management, and routine upgrades of VMWARE infrastructure. - Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for VMware infrastructure. - Reviewing system additions/enhancements and recommending improvements. - Analyzing and implementing VMware performance tuning strategies. - Creating and deleting VM Snapshots as per requirements. - Adding and deleting New Datastores in the existing VMware environment. Your experience in VMware technologies and ability to manage complex VMware infrastructures will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical servers and systems.,
