Qualification: ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical or relevant)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, edit, and optimize VMC programs using G-code / M-code as per component drawings.
• Set up and operate VMC machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and process sheets.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, and job proving for new components.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Carry out in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and Height Gauge.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or parameter corrections as required.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and 5S practices.
• Maintain machine health through basic preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain production records and daily output reports.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in VMC programming and operation.
• Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers (as applicable).
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple jobs.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control practices.
• Experience in job shop / batch production preferred.

Preferred Competencies:

• Exposure to CAM software (Mastercam / SolidCAM / Fusion 360) – added advantage.
• Ability to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
