Job Description

Job Description:- We are looking for VMC Programmer - 2D for our client place based at Gurugram, Haryana. The ideal should be creates CNC codes for vertical milling machines, translating engineering drawings (blueprints, GD&T) into machine instructions using CAD/CAM software, setting up tools, running programs, and performing quality checks with precision instruments to produce parts accurately and efficiently, collaborating with production teams. Key skills involve G-code, CAD/CAM (like Powermill), blueprint reading, and problem-solving for optimizing production runs. Roles & Responsibilities:- Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for 2D features on VMCs using CAM software. Setup & Operation: Set up workpieces, select tools, fixtures, and adjust machine settings (speed, feed, coolant). Quality Control: Monitor machining, perform in-process inspections with tools (calipers, micrometers) to meet specs, and troubleshoot errors. Collaboration: Work with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve processes. Documentation: Maintain records of setups, tooling, and production data. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Technical: Strong G-code/M-code knowledge, blueprint reading, GD&T understanding. Machining: Experience with VMCs, part setting, tool selection. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, good problem-solver, strong communication and teamwork.
