VMC Operator

As a skilled VMC Operator, your role will involve operating and maintaining Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings. Your responsibilities will include: - Setting up and operating VMC machines according to job requirements - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions - Loading and unloading tools, fixtures, and components - Performing tool offsets, job setting, and basic program edits when necessary - Monitoring machine operations and making adjustments as needed - Measuring components using instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, and height gauge - Ensuring components meet quality and tolerance standards - Maintaining proper documentation of production and inspection records - Carrying out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping - Following safety norms, 5S practices, and company policies - Coordinating with supervisors and quality team for issue resolution Qualifications required for this role include: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade Experience: - 1 to 5 years of experience as a VMC Operator - Experience in a job work / production environment is preferred Skills & Competencies: - Knowledge of VMC machines (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi preferred) - Understanding of cutting tools, tooling selection, and machining processes - Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is an advantage - Good understanding of quality control and inspection methods - Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets Other Requirements: - Attention to detail and accuracy - Team player with good communication skills - Willingness to learn and adapt In addition, the company offers Provident Fund benefits for this full-time position.
