Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for manufacturing metal parts. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and specifications. Set up tools, jigs, and fixtures on the VMC machine. Load and unload parts safely and efficiently. Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to ensure proper function. Perform basic to intermediate CNC programming (if required). Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area. Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
