VMC Operator

VMC Operator | Experience : 2 -3years | Salary : 25- 30 k | Location :Konanakunte, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560108 only VMC operator experience apply

Machine operation: Set up and run VMC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications and blueprints.

• Material and tool handling: Load and unload materials, and select, install, and handle appropriate cutting tools, such as end mills and drills.
• Quality control: Monitor machine operations and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required standards.
• Technical proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and make adjustments to machine settings, feed rates, and rapid rates as needed.
• Programming: Work with and make modifications to CNC programs using G-code and M-code to improve performance or meet specific job needs.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any machinery issues to keep the VMC running efficiently and prevent downtime.
• Safety and documentation: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance.

Qualifications and skills

• Previous experience as a VMC or CNC operator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in operating VMC machines and good mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code and M-code) is often required.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills
