Visa Counselor

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Visa Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end guidance and support to clients applying for visas to Canada and the USA. This role requires in-depth knowledge of immigration processes, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others succeed. Key Responsibilities: Counsel students and professionals regarding visa processes for Canada and the USA. Assist clients with the preparation and submission of visa applications. Stay updated on changing visa policies and procedures for Canada and the USA. Conduct eligibility assessments and provide accurate advice on visa requirements. Review and verify documentation to ensure all requirements are met. Liaise with immigration offices, embassies, and consulates as needed. Follow up on applications and update clients on the status of their cases. Handle client queries in person, over the phone, or via email/chat professionally. Maintain proper records of client interactions, applications, and documentation. Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional events when required. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or higher (any discipline). Minimum 1-3 years of experience in visa counselling or immigration services (Canada/USA focus preferred). Sound knowledge of Canadian and US visa regulations and procedures (student visa, visitor visa, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of regional languages is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
