Role Overview: You will be joining Twixor as a Mid-Level Proxmox Developer / Virtualization Engineer in Chennai. Your main responsibility will be managing, deploying, and optimizing Proxmox-based virtualization environments to support digital customer engagement solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and manage Proxmox VE infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability for business applications. - Provision, monitor, and optimize KVM virtual machines and LXC containers based on evolving technical and business needs. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the virtualization environment to maintain high reliability and minimize downtime. - Oversee storage solutions setup, management, backups, data recovery, and integration with virtualization workflows. - Configure and manage network settings including bridges, VLANs, bonding, and firewall rules within Proxmox environments. - Continuously monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools and implement preventive maintenance strategies. - Create and maintain documentation related to virtual machine configurations, storage policies, and network setups. - Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to plan, test, and implement scalable infrastructure solutions as requirements evolve. Qualification Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Proxmox VE, ensuring deployment, management, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments. - Deep expertise in virtualization technologies including KVM virtual machines. - Practical experience in designing, deploying, and managing KVM virtual machines for scalable computing environments. - Knowledge in LXC containers installation, configuration, and optimization for application hosting. - Familiarity with storage management solutions like ZFS, Ceph, or other storage backends. - Competence in network administration covering bridges, VLANs, bonding, and configuring firewall rules. - Experience with monitoring tools for infrastructure performance analysis and troubleshooting system issues. - Proficiency in Linux system administration, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu distributions in virtualization settings. - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly across virtualization, storage, and network components.
