Virtualization Engineer

As a Virtualization Engineer at RadScribe Inc, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtual infrastructure. You will collaborate with clients and cybersecurity teams to ensure the security, efficiency, and scalability of virtual environments, contributing to technological advancement in a collaborative and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate, design, implement, and manage virtual environments using Softdrive, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or other virtualization technologies. - Perform regular system maintenance including updates, patches, and troubleshooting for high availability and performance. - Optimize virtual machines and infrastructure performance to meet client's requirements. - Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for virtualized environments. - Ensure virtual infrastructure security by integrating and managing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures. - Collaborate with the board of directors on infrastructure projects, providing expertise in virtualization technologies. - Document and demonstrate virtualization processes and configurations to clients for a clear understanding of the environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience as a Virtualization Engineer or similar role. - Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (Softdrive, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen) and experience in managing virtual environments. - Familiarity with storage solutions, networking, and computer hardware. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional). - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
