Videographer & Editor

Prepscale is looking for a creative and technically skilled Videographer & Multimedia Specialist to join our team. We need a visual storyteller who is just as comfortable shooting a polished, multi-camera podcast as they are capturing high-energy content on a smartphone for social media.

In this role, you will handle end-to-end production—from setting up lighting and audio to shooting and final editing. You will play a key role in defining the visual identity of our brand across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production (Camera & Mobile)

• Professional Shooting: Operate professional video cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless/Cinema line) to shoot high-quality long-form content, interviews, and promotional videos.
• Mobile Content Creation: Shoot vertical video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) using high-end smartphones, utilizing mobile gimbals and creative transitions suited for social media trends.
• Multi-Camera Setups: Manage multi-camera productions, ensuring angles are synced and color-matched during shooting.
• Lighting & Audio: Set up professional 3-point lighting and capture crisp audio (lavalier mics, shotgun mics, and podcast recorders).

2. Podcast Production

• Oversee the technical setup for video podcasts, including switching between multiple cameras and managing audio levels in real-time.
• Ensure a comfortable and professional environment for guests and hosts.

3. Post-Production (Editing)

• Edit long-form content (YouTube videos, courses, podcasts) and short-form content (social media clips) using industry-standard software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
• Perform color correction, color grading, and audio mixing/mastering.
• Add motion graphics, lower thirds, and subtitles to enhance engagement.

4. Photography

• Capture high-quality still images for YouTube thumbnails, social media posts, and behind-the-scenes (BTS) content.
• Conduct photo shoots for team headshots or product features as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a videographer/editor (Portfolio or Showreel required).
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expertise in operating video cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.).
• Proficiency in mobile videography best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) or DaVinci Resolve.
• Podcast Skills: Experience with audio interfaces (e.g., Rodecaster Pro, Zoom recorders) and multi-cam sync.
• Visual Eye: Strong understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Adaptability: Ability to switch rapidly between "polished professional" and "authentic social" visual styles.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with live streaming software (OBS, vMix).
• Basic animation or motion graphics skills.
• Graphic design skills for creating thumbnails.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
