Videographer & Editor

As a Video Creator cum Editor, your role will involve creating and editing videos for various platforms and purposes. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing video content to meet the needs of clients or organizations. Your expertise in both video creation and editing will be instrumental in producing engaging and visually appealing videos.

Responsibilities:

Video Creation: Generate creative ideas and concepts for video content based on client requirements or project objectives. Develop storyboards, scripts, and shot lists to guide the video production process. Capture high-quality video footage using professional cameras and equipment.

Video Editing: Utilize video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools) to edit raw footage, apply transitions, add effects, and synchronize audio. Edit videos to create a coherent and visually appealing final product.

Post-Production: Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and other post-production techniques. Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects as necessary. Ensure that the final video meets the desired standards of quality, style, and branding.

Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, creative teams, or project managers to understand project requirements and objectives. Work closely with other team members, such as videographers, graphic designers, and sound engineers, to coordinate and integrate different elements of video production.

Organization and File Management: Maintain a well-organized system for storing and managing video files, ensuring easy access and retrieval when needed. Keep track of project timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines.

Upkeep of Equipment: Take responsibility for the maintenance, storage, and upkeep of video equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio devices. Troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic repairs if necessary.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technologies in video production and editing. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills to enhance the quality and creativity of your work.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in video creation and editing, preferably in a professional setting. A portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating proficiency in video production and editing techniques.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Familiarity with color correction, audio editing, motion graphics, and visual effects. Understanding of different video formats, codecs, and delivery platforms.

Creativity: Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities. Ability to translate ideas and concepts into visually compelling videos that effectively communicate the intended message or story.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to video editing, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, timelines, and client feedback. Willingness to learn new techniques and software as needed.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques, and audio recording principles. Knowledge of video compression, file formats, and video optimization for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites).

Education: A degree or diploma in film production, multimedia, visual arts, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Relevant certifications or specialized training in video editing and production would be beneficial.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
