Video IP Verification Senior Engineer

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various other cutting-edge technologies to launch world-class products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements, contributing to Qualcomm's mission of enabling next-generation experiences and driving digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field along with 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience or a PhD in a relevant field is also accepted. - Looking for candidates with 3 to 6 years of experience, with expertise in coverage driven module verification. - Strong proficiency in System Verilog, UVM, and testbench development (stimulus, agent, monitor, checker). - Experience in failure debugging with Verdi & log file, verification with c-based reference model, and assertion development. - Familiarity with EDA tools such as IUS, VCS, and Verdi, as well as exposure in scripting with perl and Python. - Ability to work well in a team, proactively interacting with designers and other verification engineers. - Prior experience with video pipeline and knowledge of tensilica is an added advantage. - Experience in C-based system modeling, debugging with C-based reference model, and exposure to various verification tasks including gate level simulation, power-aware simulation, formal verification, sub-system verification, and emulation.
