About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through visuals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in editing both short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) and long-form videos (YouTube, webinars, podcasts). This role offers the opportunity to shape engaging video content for a growing digital media brand and work closely with our content and social media teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos optimised for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit long-form content, including YouTube videos, webinars, and podcasts, ensuring seamless storytelling and audience retention.
• Collaborate with content creators, strategists, and the social media team to ensure edits align with brand vision and audience trends.
• Work with editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Handle editing tasks such as trimming footage, adding transitions, syncing audio, colour correction, sound balancing, and adding subtitles/graphics.
• Maintain brand consistency and high production quality across all video formats.
• Stay up to date with trending editing styles, viral content formats, and visual effects.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and suggest innovative video content ideas.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one major video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics for both short-form and long-form content.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling multiple projects.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
• Prior internship or freelance experience in video editing will be an advantage.
