Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Videographer to produce highquality

visual content that highlights the hospital’s services, success stories, patient experiences,

and awareness campaigns. The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills, hands-on

experience with shooting, and the ability to present medical and healthcare topics in an engaging

way.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Video Shooting: Plan and execute video shoots within hospital premises, including doctor
• talks, patient testimonials, surgeries (with consent), events, and awareness campaigns.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for social media, digital
• campaigns, and in-hospital displays.
• Creative Conceptualization: Work with the marketing team to brainstorm, storyboard,
• and execute creative ideas for campaigns and educational videos.
• Content Simplification: Convert complex medical or surgical topics into simple, engaging,
• and visually appealing stories.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain Onus brand tone, colour palette, and visual identity across
• all video content.
• Motion Graphics & Texts: Add titles, infographics, and animations to enhance storytelling.
• Audio Editing: Handle syncing, background scores, and voiceovers for a professional
• finish.
• Social Media Optimization: Create short-form videos optimized for Instagram Reels,
• YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• File Management: Maintain an organized archive of raw footage, project files, and final
• outputs.
• Timely Delivery: Manage multiple projects and deliver within set deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing and shooting (healthcare or corporate
• environment preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition (or similar).
• Strong camera handling and lighting knowledge (DSLR/mirrorless).
• Basic animation or motion graphics skills.
• Creative storytelling ability with good visual and audio sense.
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and sensitivity while filming.
• Understanding of HIPAA-like privacy considerations for patient content.
• Knowledge of basic color correction, grading, and audio mastering.
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to communicate complex information simply.
• Familiarity with social media content trends, especially Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts,
• and healthcare video marketing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, patients, and the marketing team.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare or willingness to learn medical terminology (training will be
• provided).
• Flexibility for occasional early morning/evening shoots and hospital events.
• A portfolio showcasing video editing work.
