Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and experience in creating engaging video content for digital platforms. You will be responsible for editing promotional videos, social media content, and educational materials specifically tailored for healthcare clients, ensuring all content meets industry standards and resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality promotional videos, Instagram reels, YouTube content, and social media assets for healthcare clients • Create compelling video narratives that effectively communicate complex healthcare information to diverse audiences • Collaborate with creative directors and account managers to understand client requirements and brand guidelines • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines • Ensure all video content complies with healthcare industry regulations and maintains professional standards • Optimize video content for various digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and website integration • Maintain organized project files and asset libraries for efficient workflow management • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for healthcare video campaigns • Review and incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders • Stay updated with current video trends, techniques, and platform-specific requirements

Required Skills & Technical Proficiency

• Video Editing Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent professional editing tools • Storytelling: Strong understanding of video narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement techniques • Audio Management: Experience with sound design, audio editing, mixing, and synchronization • Visual Effects: Knowledge of transitions, basic motion graphics, and visual enhancement techniques • Color Grading: Understanding of color correction and basic color grading for consistent visual quality • Format Expertise: Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and export settings for different digital platforms • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to quality control and final output review

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Graphic design experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva • Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and medical content sensitivity • Experience with motion graphics and animation • Understanding of SEO principles for video content • Familiarity with social media platform specifications and best practices • Photography and basic videography skills

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Film Editing, Visual Communication, Mass Media, Digital Media, or related field preferred • Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience • Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video editing and creative storytelling • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Work Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 6 days per week • Work Environment: Office-based in Chennai with collaborative team setting • Reporting: Direct reporting to Creative Director/Video Production Manager
