Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

Understand the creative idea and interpret the brief with clarity

Identify the most engaging moments that bring the idea to life

Create edits with strong hooks, clean pacing and high retention value

Build micro stories that hold attention and feel natural to watch

Maintain brand tonality and visual identity across all edits

Add motion elements, typography and sound design to elevate the final video

Optimise videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts.

Ensure each video meets quality standards and timelines

Collaborate with the creative team to refine and finalise the edit

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in editing short form videos for social media

Strong sense of storytelling, timing and visual rhythm

Ability to spot emotional peaks, hook worthy lines and strong reactions

Understanding of audio design and colour correction

Ability to work quickly without compromising quality

Strong attention to detail and a creative problem solving mindset

Awareness of current social trends, formats and platform behaviours
