Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content including social media reels, explainer videos, and podcast edits from raw footage, AI-generated visuals, and online stock footage. This role is fully remote, requiring self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to deliver engaging and professional video content tailored to diverse platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short-form videos (Instagram/Facebook reels, YouTube shorts, TikTok) with strong storytelling and trend adaptation.
• Create explainer videos using raw recordings, AI-generated visuals, stock footage, and animations.
• Edit podcast episodes into polished video/audio formats with seamless transitions, background music, and engaging graphics.
• Source and integrate stock footage, AI visuals, music, and sound effects where required.
• Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (social media, YouTube, websites, etc.).
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute video concepts.
• Stay updated on trending video formats, editing styles, and AI tools for video production.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of reels, explainer videos, and podcasts.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Knowledge of motion graphics and tools such as After Effects/Canva/CapCut (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work with AI-based video generation tools and integrate them into edits.
• Strong sense of storytelling, timing, and pacing.
• Familiarity with various aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats required for different digital platforms.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to new styles and trends quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Background

• Prior experience in editing social media content (reels, shorts, stories).
• Experience in content marketing or agency settings.
• Knowledge of basic sound editing for podcasts and videos.
