Job Tittle - Video Editor

We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor who can quickly cut and assemble footage into clean, engaging drafts. The ideal candidate should be able to handle live-style editing — producing initial versions fast, while maintaining attention to detail in color correction, sound, and graphics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver professional-quality videos within short timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review raw footage and select the best takes to maintain a strong storytelling flow.
• Cut, trim, and assemble clips ensuring smooth pacing and engaging visuals.
• Produce rough cuts rapidly and refine them into polished final versions.
• Apply transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance footage.
• Correct and enhance color, lighting, and audio for consistency and professional quality.
• Sync audio, background music, and voiceovers seamlessly.
• Integrate titles, captions, infographics, and branding elements where needed.
• Edit and produce high-quality, engaging videos for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Create compelling video thumbnails using Photoshop or similar tools.
• Optimize video exports for different formats and platforms.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop creative video concepts.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver quick turnarounds under tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, styles, and AI-based tools for efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio (short-form and long-form videos).
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop for motion graphics and thumbnail creation.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
• Ability to work creatively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and storytelling sense.

Preferred Skills

* Familiarity with social media trends and engagement-driven editing styles.

* Basic understanding of AI-assisted editing tools or creative editing apps.

salary - 35k to 50k
