Balaji Switchgears is a fast-growing company where we create impactful visual content that engages, inspires, and tells powerful stories about switchgear industry and family businesses. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house team and help enhance our brand image through high-quality video content.

Role Overview:

As our Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging video content for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, websites, and ads. You’ll work closely with our marketing and content teams to ensure all video materials align with our brand identity and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos.

· Add music, sound effects, graphics, transitions, and visual effects.

· Collaborate with the team to understand creative vision.

· Manage and organize video assets and archives efficiently.

· Ensure all videos meet quality, branding, and delivery standards.

· Optimize videos for different platforms and audiences.

· Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools.

· Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements:

· Proven 2-3 years of experience as a video editor (portfolio required).

· Provision to bring your own device with software.

· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

· Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and storytelling.

· Familiarity with colour grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics.

· Attention to detail and a creative mindset.

· Ability to work independently and within a team.

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with animation or motion graphics.

· Knowledge of YouTube and social media video best practices.

· Basic knowledge of photography or cinematography.

· Ability to handle camera equipment (optional, if needed).
