The Role:

Are you a digital ninja, self starter who can explain technical details to a non technical audience, with a passion for storytelling and a knack for making a brand shine online? We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated All-in-One Creative Digital Technologist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind our online presence, responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing all of our digital content. From short-form social videos to polished YouTube productions, you'll be the master of our digital universe, leveraging technology to maximize our brand's reach and engagement.

This is a hands-on, creative position for someone who is not only a fantastic content creator but also a strategic thinker who understands how to use data and technology to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:

    Independently produce high-quality, engaging content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. This includes creating static posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories.
  • Video Production:

    Plan, script, shoot, and edit a wide range of video content, from short-form social videos to longer-form YouTube videos, tutorials, and brand stories.
  • YouTube Channel Management:

    Manage and grow our YouTube channel, including optimizing videos for search, writing compelling descriptions, and creating eye-catching thumbnails.
  • Social Media Strategy:

    Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand messaging and marketing objectives.
  • Technology & Tools:

    Utilize a variety of creative and digital tools to enhance content, automate processes, and analyze performance.
  • Brand Voice:

    Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.
  • Performance Analysis:

    Monitor and report on key performance metrics, using insights to refine and optimize our content strategy.
  • Collaboration:

    Work with internal teams to ensure content is aligned with overall marketing campaigns and business initiatives.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise with a range of creative and digital tools. Proficiency in the following software is highly preferred:

  • Video Editing:

    Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
  • Graphic Design:

    Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma
  • Social Media Management:

    Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer
  • Analytics:

    Google Analytics, Social media native analytics tools, SEMrush
  • Project Management:

    Asana, Trello, Notion
  • Web Design/CMS (Bonus):

    Odoo, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

A typical day might involve:

  • Brainstorming and storyboarding new video ideas for an upcoming product launch.
  • Shooting and editing a quick "behind-the-scenes" Reel for Instagram.
  • Writing and scheduling a week's worth of social media posts using a management tool.
  • Analyzing the performance of last week's YouTube video and making recommendations for future content.
  • Collaborating with a team member on a new blog post that will also have an accompanying social video.
  • Creating a new thumbnail and updating the description for a popular YouTube video to improve its click-through rate.

Qualifications:
