Vice President of Engineering

You are an experienced and visionary Vice President of Engineering who will lead and scale the GCC center in Trivandrum/Kochi. Your role requires strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep understanding of modern technologies such as AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), React, Spring Framework, and Python. You will have the opportunity to build high-performing teams, foster innovation, and drive the delivery of scalable and cutting-edge software solutions. Your key responsibilities will include leading and growing a world-class engineering team focused on delivering high-impact, scalable technology solutions. You will define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business goals and product vision, driving innovation in AI/ML, particularly in areas involving LLMs, vector databases, and other modern AI technologies. It will also be your responsibility to ensure best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and development lifecycle, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Business teams to deliver customer-centric features. As the Vice President of Engineering, you will own the engineering roadmap, resource planning, and performance metrics. You will promote a strong engineering culture emphasizing interpersonal skills, communication, and data-driven decision making. Additionally, you will ensure security, scalability, and reliability across all systems and services, evaluating and implementing new technologies to maintain a competitive edge. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience leading engineering teams in high-growth environments, deep expertise in AI/ML, including LLMs and vector databases, and a strong command of React, Spring Framework, and Python. A solid foundation in software design patterns, architecture, and modern DevOps practices is essential, along with excellent strategic thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills. Your ability to make decisions grounded in data and business context, as well as your track record of building scalable, secure, and robust platforms/products, will be critical. An experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or GCP) would be a plus, and a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required for this role.,
