Vice President - Debt Syndication - External Commercial Borrowing / High Yield - Bank - Mumbai

As a Vice President External Commercial Borrowing/High Yield in a leading Pvt Bank in Mumbai, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be managing end-to-end syndication and placement of foreign currency loans and External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs) to foreign bank branches, Development Financial Institutions (DFIs), and GIFT IFSC branches. Your role will involve coordinating with internal origination teams and external lenders to track deal progress, finalize pricing, and ensure timely transaction closure. Key Responsibilities: - Loan Distribution & Placement - Manage syndication and placement of foreign currency loans and ECBs - Coordinate with internal and external teams for deal progress and pricing finalization - Lender Coverage & Relationship Management - Maintain and expand relationships with a diverse network of lenders - Monitor lenders sectoral focus, pricing benchmarks, and credit approval requirements - Engage with lenders to identify pipeline opportunities and understand preferences - Deal Marketing & Execution Support - Prepare and circulate Information Memoranda (IMs) and deal summaries - Support marketing and syndication efforts with lender teasers - Market Intelligence - Track loan and ECB market developments, pricing trends, and investor behavior - Provide insights to origination teams on market appetite and syndication strategies Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of work experience in loan syndication in offshore business - Sound knowledge of regulations related to External Commercial Borrowing/High Yield - Strong understanding of syndication processes and market trends If you find this opportunity exciting, kindly email at shivani@thepremierconsultants.com.,
