Vice President - Data Scientist

As a Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst at our company, you will play a strategic role in staying updated on developments in your field and contributing to the directional strategy by applying your expertise. Your developed communication and diplomacy skills will be crucial in guiding, influencing, and convincing colleagues in various areas, including external customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies - Identify and compile data sets using tools like SQL and Access to predict, improve, and measure key business outcomes - Document data requirements, data collection/processing/cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, potentially utilizing statistical models/algorithms and data visualization techniques - Specialization in marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields is possible - Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding the firm's reputation and complying with laws and regulations **Qualifications:** - 12+ years of experience - Working experience in a quantitative field, specifically in the Financial/Credit Card industry - Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation, along with proficient analytical skills - Excellent analytic ability, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel for developing analytic presentations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to a matrix work environment As a candidate for this role, you should hold a Bachelors/University degree, with a Masters degree preferred.
