Vice President (Data Platform)

As the VP of Engineering at our Bengaluru, India office, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, engineering managers, and quality managers. Your primary focus will be on hiring, managing, and nurturing a talented team while fostering a culture that is aligned with CIQ core values. You will oversee the development of CIQ products throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring quality, speed, and on-time delivery. A key aspect of your role will involve mentoring and guiding the engineering team on best practices for engineering excellence. You will also be responsible for architecting services for scalability and collaborating with the product management team to shape the quarterly product roadmap. Your ability to drive innovation within the team will be crucial in developing products that set us apart in the market. Collaborating with the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in defining a forward-looking tech strategy that aligns with our product and business goals. Your experience in building, delivering, and scaling cloud-based software products will be essential. Additionally, your strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, will enable you to engage and influence senior executives effectively. To excel in this role, you should have at least 15 years of experience in the software industry, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling high-quality products. Your background in people management and team growth, along with prior experience in overseeing software engineering teams for SaaS products, will be valuable assets. A degree in B.E/BTech/MS from a Tier 1 college (such as IITs/IIITs/RECs) is also required.
