Vice President (Data Platform)

As the VP of Engineering at this company, your role will involve hiring, managing, and growing a team of engineers, engineering managers, and quality managers. You will be responsible for building an organizational culture that reflects CIQ core values and overseeing an engineering excellence organization throughout the SDLC life cycle to develop CIQ product suite with quality, speed, and impeccable delivery. Your duties will also include mentoring and guiding the engineering team on best practices, owning the architecture for scalability, collaborating with the product management team to influence the product roadmap, creating an engineering delivery plan, and driving innovation to bring engineering-driven products that set us apart in the market. Additionally, you will work with the leadership team to develop a tech strategy and influence product and business strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Hire, manage, and grow a team of engineers, engineering managers, and quality managers - Build an organizational culture reflecting CIQ core values - Mentor and guide the engineering team on best practices - Collaborate with product management to influence the product roadmap - Create an engineering delivery plan and drive innovation for engineering-driven products - Work with the leadership team to develop a tech strategy and influence product and business strategies Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in building, delivering, and scaling high-quality cloud-based software products - Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of engaging and influencing senior executives - Strong business and technical vision - 5+ years of people management experience - Prior experience in managing software engineering teams to launch SaaS products that have seen scale - B.E/BTech/MS from a Tier 1 college (IITs / IIITs / RECs),
