Role Overview: As a Manager Mechanical in Onsite Operations at Linde South Asia Services Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems provide adequate functionality and reliability with minimum cost of ownership in compliance with internal and external regulations. Your role will involve coordinating, preparing, and executing overhauling of rotating equipment during turnarounds, emergency shutdowns, and equipment breakdowns. Additionally, you will support the condition monitoring program and provide technical support on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines. Ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance programs, supporting Root Cause Failure Analysis related to mechanical equipment failures, managing statutory requirements, and coordinating site activities on rotating equipment during turnaround will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be in charge of making annual plans for OPEX & CAPEX, as well as conducting training and development for site mechanical engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate, prepare, and execute overhauling of rotating equipment during turnarounds, emergency shutdowns, and equipment breakdowns - Support condition monitoring program (e.g., vibration monitoring, oil analysis, VDL, ECM, Ultrasonic, etc.) - Provide technical support on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines - Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment - Support Root Cause Failure Analysis related to mechanical failure of equipment - Manage statutory requirements and coordinate site activities on rotating equipment during turnaround - Make annual plans for OPEX & CAPEX - Conduct training and development for site mechanical engineers and technicians Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - 10 to 12 years of experience in continuous process industries, preferably air separation unit / petrochemical / fertilizer - Strong safety awareness - Hands-on experience in Continuous Process Industries - Working knowledge & experience in handling rotating and stationary equipment - Good interpersonal relationship in the working area - Knowledge of vibration monitoring systems such as Bently Nevada System 1 and turbine/compressor application will be an advantage In summary, as a Manager Mechanical at Linde South Asia Services Pvt.
