VFX Quality & Workflow Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Netflix India VFX team across the full production lifecycle, from early planning to final delivery.
• Review and provide creative and technical feedback on shots to ensure alignment with Netflix quality standards.
• Help interpret creative intent from directors and production teams into actionable, VFX-executable guidance.
• Collaborate with vendors and local studios to identify workflow gaps and suggest scalable, future-ready improvements.
• Share learnings across shows and help implement lightweight tools, templates, or practices that reduce friction and improve efficiency.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, including real-time rendering, virtual production, machine learning-based solutions, and other workflow innovations, assessing their relevance to productions.
• Provide early guidance on bids, scope, and execution strategies to support fair, transparent, and efficient vendor engagement.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Post, Production, and Creative to ensure seamless VFX delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in high-end VFX as a VFX Supervisor, CG Supervisor, or senior artist.
• Deep understanding of VFX pipelines, workflows, and production dynamics.
• Strong creative and technical instincts, with an eye for believability and storytelling impact.
• Skilled at bridging creative ideas and technical execution, especially when translating feedback for vendors.
• Collaborative and clear communicator, building trust across teams and studios.
• Proficient in Nuke, ShotGrid, Frame.io, RV, and other cloud-based review systems; working knowledge of Unreal Engine, Houdini, basic scripting, and experience with Google Workspace and Excel.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems calmly and practically.
• Brings clarity, maturity, and technical confidence into complex conversations.
• On-set experience or involvement in early production planning is a plus.
