VFX Faculty

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled VFX Faculty to train and mentor students in Visual Effects, Compositing, and 3D workflows. The ideal candidate should have hands-on industry experience in VFX production pipelines, excellent command over relevant software, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom sessions and practical labs on VFX modules (compositing, rotoscoping, matchmoving, dynamics, lighting, rendering).
• Train students on industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Houdini, After Effects, Fusion, Photoshop, Premiere Pro.
• Guide students in creating showreels/portfolios aligned with industry standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback for improvement.
• Stay updated with latest VFX industry trends, workflows, and software updates.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators for curriculum enhancement.
• Assist in student projects, workshops, seminars, and industry interactions.
• Ensure high-quality learning outcomes and maintain strong student engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, or related field.
• Strong expertise in Compositing, Rotoscoping, Tracking, and CG Integration.
• Proficiency in tools: Nuke, Houdini, Maya/3ds Max, After Effects, Fusion, Photoshop, Premiere Pro.
• Prior teaching/training experience preferred, but industry professionals with passion for teaching are also welcome.
• Good communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Experience

• 2–6 years of work experience in VFX production and/or teaching.
• Worked on films, TV series, OTT projects, gaming, or advertising VFX.
• Exposure to industry-standard pipelines in post-production and VFX studios.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
