VERTICAL PACKAGING MACHINE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

As a Vertical Packaging Machine Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in packing machines. Your role will involve diagnosing faults in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and control panels to minimize equipment downtime and ensure prompt responses to breakdowns. Additionally, you will assist in the installation and setup of new packaging equipment, calibrate and program machine components, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption. Collaboration with mechanical engineers and production teams will be essential to modify existing systems for increased productivity. You will also be involved in programming and modifying PLCs, maintaining and troubleshooting VFDs, Servo motors, Encoders, and identifying critical electrical spares for packing machines. Managing inventory, coordinating with vendors for procurement, and maintaining records of electrical schematics, service history, and technical documentation will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, following electrical safety protocols, and conducting lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures will be crucial in your daily tasks. Furthermore, providing training to operators and technicians on basic electrical safety and routine machine care will be a key aspect of your role. This position requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering. The job involves working 12-hour rotational shifts with a salary range of 35,000 - 40,000 Gross. It is a full-time role with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
