Vendor Master Data Specialist

Purpose of the Job

The Vendor Master Data Specialist will leverage SAP ECC expertise to manage and maintain vendor master data, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, SOX, and statutory requirements. This role involves collaborating with various departments to enhance data accuracy and integrity, providing insights for process improvements.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

• Modify and create vendor master data records in SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of Vendor Master T codes and technical tables in ECC.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support vendor-related reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly.
• Participate in monthly closing activities and prepare necessary SOX controls.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for vendor data management.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience)

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Vendor Master Data management.
• Proficient in SAP ECC with hands-on experience in vendor master data modules.
• Experience with Service Now is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment is advantageous.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and Master Data Governance (MDG) is valued.
