Job Description

TumGifts.com is building the largest network of premium Bakeries, Florists, and Gift Shops. We are looking for a Vendor Manager to build our supply network. You will be responsible for identifying the best local vendors, contacting them, and onboarding them onto our platform. You are the face of TumGifts for our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation (The "Detective" Work):
  • Scout for top-rated bakers, florists, and gift shops using Google Maps, Instagram, JustDial, and existing databases.
  • Identify "Hidden Gems"—vendors with great products but low online presence who need our help to grow.
  • Cold Calling & Pitching:
  • Call business owners to explain the TumGifts partnership model.
  • Handle inbound leads from our "Become a Vendor" ads—response time must be under 30 minutes.
  • The Pitch: Convince them why selling on TumGifts increases their revenue without any upfront cost.
  • Onboarding & Catalog Management:
  • Collect their Menu/Catalog, Prices, and Photos.
  • Negotiate margins (ensure our 50% vendor payout model is understood and agreed upon).
  • Coordinate with the Data Entry team to ensure their shop goes "Live" on the website within 48 hours.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Solve vendor issues (e.g., payment queries, order notifications).
  • Train vendors on how to use the "Merchant Panel" to accept orders.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • The "Hustler": You are not afraid of making 30-40 calls a day. You don't take "No" for an answer; you take it as "Not right now."
  • Digital Smarts: You are comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets to track leads and know how to find business owners' numbers online.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Hindi and [Local Language, e.g., Marwari/Punjabi] to build trust with local shopkeepers. Basic English is required for emails/reporting.
  • Negotiation Skills: You can explain business logic calmly to a shopkeeper.

What You Will Learn:

  • B2B Sales and Partnership Management.
  • How to negotiate supply chain margins in an e-commerce model.
  • Building a business network from scratch.

Hiring Challenge:

  • Task during the interview: "Here is Google Maps. Find 3 bakeries in the 'Sardarpura' area, find their phone numbers, and simulate a call to convince them to list their cakes on TumGifts."

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
