Vendor Development Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vendor Development Executive to join our procurement/supply chain team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors to enhance the supply chain and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Identify and develop new vendors and suppliers across regions
• • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability
• • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• • Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams for vendor approval
• • Maintain and update vendor database with complete documentation
• • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
• • Conduct market research for alternate materials and vendor sources

Desired Candidate Profile:

• • Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or relevant field
• • Minimum 7 years of experience in vendor development or sourcing
• • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• • Hands-on experience with vendor evaluation techniques and ERP systems
• • Knowledge of cost estimation and supply market analysis
