Vendor Development - Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager Vendor Relations at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Vendor Relationship Manager in fostering strong and strategic partnerships with our vendor network. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with various teams to drive sales performance, ensure smooth operations, and efficiently resolve issues. Your excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and proactive approach to continuous process improvement will be key to success in this role. - Assist in managing and nurturing vendor relationships to maintain long-term engagement and trust. - Support the development and execution of business plans for key vendors. - Collaborate on sales target planning and assist in tracking vendor-wise sales performance. - Monitor vendor performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for review. - Aid in resolving issues across internal departments and vendor partners. - Assist in negotiating commercial terms and onboarding new vendors. - Coordinate with internal teams (pricing, listings, operations) to ensure timely execution of vendor-related tasks. - Support vendor onboarding team members in achieving monthly onboarding targets. - Participate in market research to identify growth opportunities for both vendors and our company. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. - 2-3 years of relevant experience in vendor management, preferably in e-commerce or retail. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Proficient in advanced Excel and reporting tools. - Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude towards learning and taking initiative. This is a full-time position with a day shift or morning shift schedule. Experience in E-Commerce for 2 years is required, while experience in Retail for 2 years is preferred.,
