Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Experience in vehicle engineering for tractors especially smaller HP Tractors
Knowledge on product requirements specific to smaller HP tractors
Knowledge on vehicle performance requirements and various field applications of smaller HP tractors
Knowledge on selection of engine, driveline and implement matching to meet performance requirements
Knowledge on Integration of various aggregates, optimised packaging, overall dimensional requirements, etc.
Should have worked on structural analysis of vehicle components, flow predictions and optimisation
Should have worked on concept design of vehicle, comparison of various concepts and selection
Should have worked on problem resolution in vehicle performance / field issues, etc.
Good understanding of DFMEA / DFM / DFA and other required Design tools
Should have experience in vehicle layout preparation, stake up analysis, tolerance synthesis, etc.
Should be able to work on theoretical calculations
Should have worked on detailed design, Design verification using appropriate design tools, release of drawings and other design documents and Engineering bill of materials
Knowledge of various test requirements of tractors, homologation requirements, statutory, regulatory and safety requirements
