As a Director in the Portfolio Valuations practice, your role will involve managing valuation analysts to create, implement, and present suitable valuation models and findings to senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with the team to offer a variety of valuation advisory services to clients, encompassing underlying portfolio company debt and equity valuations, purchase price allocations, stock options, and other intricate securities valuations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design various valuation models such as discounted cash flow, market multiple analysis, market transactions modeling, and option pricing, among others. - Oversee the valuation analysis of a broad spectrum of illiquid investments and assets across different industries and geographies. - Engage in client interviews to gather pertinent information and data for the valuation process. - Advocate for the team's valuation practices goals and strategies with professionalism and integrity. - Stay updated with technical advancements in the valuation field and the alternative investments industry. - Aid in the preparation and presentation of analyses and conclusions, including written reports, to clients. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA. - Demonstrated analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong verbal communication and persuasive writing skills. - Proficiency in software like MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Minimum 10 years of experience in designing, editing, and reviewing valuation models and financial models, including Discounted Cash Flows, comparable public company analysis, market transaction analysis, complex securities, option pricing models, and other intangible asset models.
