Job Description

Role Overview: You will be leading a wide variety of research activities including user interviews, co-creation, journey mapping, usability and concept tests, and surveys. It will be your responsibility to ensure that actionable results are delivered and shared. Additionally, you will design and execute research studies following best practices and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Presenting and communicating research results and recommendations to stakeholder teams and the larger organization as needed - Collaborating and sharing research findings and insights across the organization - Providing guidance and rigor around research methodologies and best practices - Defining relevant metrics for benchmarking and measurement of journeys - Integrating research insights with quantitative data to inform a deep understanding of client journeys and data-driven prioritization - Bringing innovative approaches and creative thinking to scoping primary research with challenging-to-recruit populations - Understanding existing and planned Citi Infrastructure and projects to work on implementable solutions that make a measurable impact - Mentoring user researchers and designers to grow and scale research capabilities - Collaborating with research and design leadership to identify new tools and process improvements for better alignment and compliance with design systems - Applying a positive and constructive attitude to all feedback - Working closely with UX Designers to ensure they have all the necessary details to generate detailed UX designs - Keeping up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools - Supporting new UX starters in the team - Participating in the wider UX community of practice Qualification Required: - Experience in leading research activities such as user interviews, journey mapping, usability tests, and surveys - Strong understanding of research methodologies and best practices - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Familiarity with UX design principles and practices - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Mentoring and leadership skills to guide and grow research capabilities within the team Additional Details about Virtusa: In Virtusa, teamwork, quality of life, and professional and personal development are highly valued.
