USG scanning assistant cum Typist

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Assistance:

• Assist the radiologist/sonographer during ultrasound procedures.
• Prepare patients for scans (explanation, positioning, privacy).
• Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of the scanning room and equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of scan images.

Clerical & Typing Duties:

• Accurately type USG reports as dictated or written by the radiologist.
• Proofread typed reports for accuracy, formatting, and consistency.
• Maintain patient records in both physical and digital formats.
• Manage filing, printing, and distribution of reports to relevant departments or patients.
• Operate and maintain knowledge of hospital management systems (HMS/RIS/PACS).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent; preference for candidates with a Diploma in Medical Radiology or related field.
• Typing speed of at least 40-50 wpm with high accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, especially in radiology.
• Familiarity with MS Office and hospital information systems.
• Good communication skills and patient-handling abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in a radiology department or diagnostic center preferred.
• Freshers with strong typing skills and willingness to learn may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
