User Interface Designer

We are a growing team of passionate innovators, and we are currently looking for a talented UI/UX Developer to join us in shaping the future of our platform and user experience. As a UI/UX Developer at Plutus Labs, you will be responsible for designing high-quality user interfaces for our prediction markets platform using Figma. Your key responsibilities will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate design concepts and user flows. You will also conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and ensure that our platform meets the needs of our users. In this role, you will work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements and user needs into seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing designs. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining design systems to ensure consistency across all product interfaces and components. Additionally, you will participate in regular design reviews and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and feedback to the design process. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing user interfaces on Figma. You should also have a strong proficiency in Figma, including creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs. A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences is essential. Experience working in agile development teams, collaborating with product managers and engineers, and the ability to think creatively and critically to solve complex design problems while maintaining a focus on user needs are also key requirements for this role. Strong communication skills and the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders are important. It would be a plus if you have experience with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools. A passion for the gaming and prediction markets space, as well as an understanding of the needs and behaviors of users in this domain, would also be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to communicate effectively with engineering teams would be a nice-to-have.
