Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
Experience with multi-country payroll (USA & Canada). Payroll accounting, reconciliation of payroll-related accounts, and compliance with statutory requirements. Perform monthly payroll reconciliation between HRIS, payroll system, and general ledger. Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries (salary, deductions, employer contributions, accruals). Validate statutory deductions (Tax, social security, Pensions etc..) and ensure timely remit-tance. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll. Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors for payroll accuracy. Assist in process improvements and automation of reconciliation tasks.

Good to have:
Accurate payroll accounting, reconciliation of payroll-related accounts, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role involves validating payroll data, preparing journal entries, and supporting audits. Experience Required 35 years of experience in payroll accounting and reconciliation. Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and accounting principles. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and payroll platforms. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
