• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including client information, supporting documents, and tax-related filings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, explaining complex tax concepts clearly, gathering necessary information, and addressing inquiries.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice.

Requirements and qualifications

• Education: Typically, a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field OR a master's degree in taxation or a related field.
• Experience: Often requires at least 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tax Software: Experience with industry-standard tax preparation and filing software is essential. Examples include CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx Tax, Drake Tax, Lacerte, and UltraTax CS.
