Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing title commitments, preliminary title reports, and final title policies to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Identifying and resolving title issues such as liens, judgments, encroachments, and easements. - Verifying legal descriptions, ownership history, and chain of title. - Coordinating with title companies, attorneys, and internal teams to address title issues. - Ensuring compliance with underwriting and investor guidelines related to title. - Documenting and communicating title findings and resolutions clearly and accurately. - Maintaining accurate records and updating systems with title status and notes. - Assisting in resolving post-closing title issues when necessary. - Staying informed about state and federal regulations impacting title review. Qualifications required for this role include: - 2-4 years of experience in mortgage title review or a related field. - Strong knowledge of title documentation and real estate law. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to follow complex task processes and complete notation and documentation. - Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title software systems. - High attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Availability to work U.S. hours and from the office.
