Role Overview: As a US Accounting Services Professional, you will be a trusted partner to US-based clients across multiple industries. This role goes beyond accounting its about building relationships, managing stakeholders, and influencing client success while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Interaction & Relationship Management
• Act as a primary point of contact for US clients, ensuring responsiveness and clear communication.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, foster trust, and provide proactive accounting insights.
  
• Core Accounting & Reporting
• Categorization and posting of bank and credit card transactions in GL and sub-ledger.
• Cash applications, reconciliations, and cleaning of books of account.
• GL, AP, AR accounting, payroll accounting, and compliance.
• Fixed assets, inventory management, and depreciation/amortization computations.
  
• Financial Management & Analysis
• Preparation of Trial Balances, Financial Statements, US Tax Accounts, and Financial Analysis.
• Development of ad hoc reports and dashboards to support client decision-making.
• Collaborate with auditors and ensure seamless audit coordination.
• Support closing of books of account (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  
• Governance & ISMS Support
• Coordinate with the ISMS core team to strengthen policies, controls, and implementation strategies.
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in US accounting, with solid knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proven client-facing experience with direct interaction with US companies.
• Hands-on expertise in leading accounting platforms (QBO, Sage, Zoho, NetSuite, etc.).
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a consultative, client-first approach.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and problem-solving orientation.
• Industry exposure in one or more of the following sectors is highly preferred:
• Consumer Business/Retail | Hospitality | Healthcare & Life Sciences
• Logistics & Supply Chain | Private Equity | Construction
• Manufacturing | Staffing & Labor Management
