Job Title: Urologist

Location: Patna, Bihar

Reports To: Medical Superintendent / Head of Department

Salary: 2,00,000/- to 2,50,000/- per Month.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and committed Urologist to join our clinical team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of urological disorders, performing advanced surgical procedures, and providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

This role demands both clinical acumen and efficiency in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system through clinical evaluation and advanced testing.

Perform a wide range of urological surgeries including TURP, PCNL, URS, cystoscopy, laparoscopic procedures, and urological oncology surgeries. Interpret and utilise diagnostic tests like ultrasound KUB, uroflowmetry, urodynamic studies, IVP, MRI, CT scans, and lab investigations.

Treat conditions such as prostate enlargement, renal stones, UTIs, infertility, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and genitourinary cancers.

Maintain meticulous medical records and follow NABH/HMIS standards for documentation. Provide both pre-operative and post-operative patient care, counselling, and follow-ups. Collaborate with nephrology, oncology, gynecology, radiology, and anesthesiology departments as needed. Contribute to hospital training, audits, CME programs, and patient education initiatives. Mandatory Skills & Competencies:

Diagnostic Expertise: Proficient in interpreting medical imaging, pathology reports, and lab tests for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Surgical Proficiency:

Skilled in performing both routine and complex urological surgeries with a focus on safety and successful outcomes. Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the urinary system and male reproductive system, their normal function, and pathological conditions. Surgical Instrument Handling: Strong familiarity with urological surgical tools, endoscopic and laparoscopic instruments, and sterile techniques.

Operational Efficiency:

Ability to manage a high volume of patients effectively, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain complete and accurate medical records. Qualifications:

MBBS + MS (General Surgery) + MCh / DNB (Urology) from a recognised institution Valid registration with Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council

At least have 3+ years of experience preferred Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach Work Environment:

Hospital with advanced OT and urology suite.

Supportive clinical and administrative staff Structured OPD/IPD workflow with HIS/EMR access
