To Provide support and assist to the Urologist in performing the Procedures well.

III.

Core

• Assist urologists during diagnostic and surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
• Assist in performing urological diagnostic tests such as urodynamic and uroflowmetry under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain urological instruments, equipment, and supplies for use in surgeries and exams.
• Prepare patients for urological procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs during procedures, reporting any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting procedures, results, and care provided.
• Ensure the proper sterilization and maintenance of urological instruments and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning including quality control and calibration.
• Maintain safe work practices with respect to infection control and radiation safety.
• Provide technical guidance, assistance and instruction to employees; train new personnel.
• To ensure all instruments are washed cleaned and packed properly before sending them to CSSD.
• To maintain liaison with CSSD to ensure availability of sterile instrument sets and linen.
• To attend to emergencies during and after working hours.
